Como podrán apreciar los McKenzie, en 1970 los álbumes LET IT BE (Los Beatles) y PLASTIC ONO BAND (John Lennon) le merecen al crítico la alta calificación de 14 (sobre un máximo de 15), ambos encima de ALL THINGS MUST PASS (George Harrison) que merece un respetable 13, continúa MCCARTNEY (Paul McCartney) con un promisorio 12, más abajo BEAUCOUPS OF BLUES (Ringo Starr) con un ajustado 8 y finaliza SENTIMENTAL JOURNEY (Ringo Starr) con un desaprobatorio 5. Esto, claro, sólo en la producción beatle.

Y la calificación es RAM (Paul & Linda McCartney) con 14 puntos, IMAGINE (John Lennon) con 13, y THE CONCERT FOR BANGLA DESH (Harrison y amigos) y WILD LIFE con 11. Una opinión respetable que coloca a RAM por encima del ALL THINGS MUST PASS y con la cual concuerdo totalmente. A pesar del triple álbum, a pesar de los jams, a pesar de la (sin duda) gran inspiración de Harrison para su ALL THINGS MUST PASS, no hay disco más entrañable de un ex beatle que el RAM, donde hay nervios, alma, vitalismo hasta la euforia y una sensibilidad melódica y armónica que, lo siento George, nunca pudiste alcanzar como solista, ni siquiera en tu mejor álbum.
